November 2019 Bumper Newsletter

It’s been quite a while since we sent out a newsletter as the shop has been very busy. We’ve seen a massive growth in people wanting new bikes and an unbelievable surge in demand for eBikes. So now as we come into the quiet months before Christmas we want to update all of our loyal customers on our latest offers and promotions.

Every year, in preparation for Christmas, we hold a kids weekend where we showcase the top quality bikes available from premium brands such as Raleigh, Orbea and Frog. We believe in only selling quality kids bikes that are lightweight and designed with kids in mind. Buying cheaper ‘supermarket’ bikes can be a false economy as they tend not to be serviceable and have low quality components. This year we will have a full demo range from Frog in store and will be on hand to ensure the correct fit for your young riders. We strongly believe in getting a child to sit on the bike they will ride rarther than going by wheel size or the manufacturers age range guide.

We are also offering a 10% contribution towards your deposit for all bikes ordered over the weekend. The bigger the deposit the more you’ll save.

We often get asked if we offer credit or instalment plans so for this year we have introduced the Christmas Club. Pay a £50 deposit and half of the remaining balance by Friday 10th December. The final balance can be paid anytime before 12:00 on Friday 24th December.
To kick off November and get your bike ready for the winter, take advantage of our £10 discount on a Full Service and get a bottle of Degreaser or Bike Cleaner from our refill station

The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower scheme

Not all people with hidden disabilities require assistance. But if you do, wearing the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Lanyard discreetly indicates that you need additional support or just a little more time. The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Lanyard has been purposefully designed to act as a discreet sign that the wearer has a hidden disability and requires additional assistance. It has become the established symbol for hidden disabilities in the UK and has been successfully introduced to several major UK airports, supermarkets, railway stations and sports venues – and now at Dorvics too.

The Orbea MX50 is our best selling mountain bike. At a price point of £399 it has an unrivalled specification which knocks spots off the equivalent priced Carrera with hydraulic disc brakes, hi spec. Shimano gears, Kenda tyres and lock out front suspension.

This is why we call it the Carrera Killer..
